Design Briefing 

To create harmony and synergy between traditional and modern styling elements in a symphony of beige and brown tones. The floors had to be solid and rich – and truly unique in look and feel.

For the bedrooms, Ebony and Co crafted random width Hickory boards using a character grade which incorporated natural features such as knots and mineral streaks. The floor was framed with an 8” (20cm) border, blending seamlessly with the glass floor tiles of the spa and the brown carpet.
For the suites on the top floor, dark Walnut was used in a large 4” x 20” (10 x 50cm) Herringbone pattern, with Walnut borders. The finish in Tung Oil enhanced the intense warm tones of the Walnut.
