Each description provided in the following pages meets the meticulous standards of our ‘select’ grade criteria. These specially selected woods give you an even grain structure, a limited number of knots, wide widths and extremely long lengths. Most species include a ‘country’ grade, featuring added character through the presence of additional knots, more varied colours and natural features such as check marks caused by weathering during a tree’s development.
