They are supplied by thousands of small private landowners on the Eastern seaboard of the USA, who are fully committed to a long tradition of sustainability.

Our practice is to visit each supplier, identify individual trees suitable for our production methods and quality standards and to acquire such logs, without any clear felling being involved. Our foresters ensure we fell only the appropriate logs that meet the exacting standards of proper forestry management, while fully complying with the requirements of making a very wide floor plank.
