Our wide herringbone planks are cut from the heart of the trunk. That means they are generally longer than the narrower planks cut from the various other parts of the tree. The greater dimensions of the wide planks mean that there are fewer seams between pieces. This allows the colour and grain of the wood to shine through, with our wide engineered wood herringbone flooring, just as much as our wide solid wood herringbone flooring.

Our wood comes from a handpicked selection of larger, old-growth trees. Only these have the beautifully uniform growth structure that allows us to craft XL wide plank sizes that are consistent in stability and natural beauty. Since our wood products are custom, we can offer a rich variety of species, finishes and patterns, with the added option of extra-long lengths. Our herringbone planks can be up to 125 cm (4 feet) long, and up to 25 cm (10 inches) wide.
