The deep rich dark tone of Walnut is brought out in the traditional way by our hand-applied Tung Oil, sealed with a wear-resistant Extramatt lacquer.Tung oil was used by the Chinese thousands of years ago to protect wood. This finish is beautiful on a wood selection some variation in colour and character, like sapwood and knots. A truly timeless finish both in wide plank or traditional parquet patterns.
